Who We Are
CAReS is a community-based nonprofit agency in Ashland, Kentucky, that identifies, coordinates and mobilizes resources for individuals and families in emergency/crisis situations.

What We Do
CAReS provides direct services and referrals as needed. Additionally, CAReS prevents duplication of services by local social service organizations as well as area churches by acting as an informational clearinghouse for those organizations.
Core Services of CAReS
- Provide assistance, as funding allows, with utilities, prescriptions, rent and other needs
- Coordinate holiday assistance
- Prevent duplication of service for agencies and churches
- Provide referrals to other agencies (social services/health care)
